PrintWeek: bullish about print, Quarterfold embarks on investment

PrintWeek’s September 2022 feature, again by Ramu Ramanathan, reported Quarterfold Printabilities “bullish about print” and embarking on a fresh round of investment.

Over the preceding two years the company had put around USD 6 million into presses and finishing, and was adding a 32-page web press, a 16-page web press, a Komori sheetfed press and a dedicated warehousing and fulfilment centre.

The story notes a widening product mix — notebooks, hard-case titles, flash cards, activity books and stationery — with some titles selected for UNICEF and USAID projects.

An “at a glance” panel put Quarterfold at three factories in Taloja, Navi Mumbai, a turnover of Rs 187 crore and 260 employees at the time.
